No it's really not. In this episode I contrast the theories outlined in Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell and Range by David Epstein. It seems that people who are extraordinarily successful often experiment with a whole lot of things before they find their best fit. The old theory that you have to start when you're three years old and put in your 10,000 hours may not be true. So it's not too late if you're in your 30s, 40s or 50s to find what you're that sweet spot where your talent, passion and money come together. Questions: 1. I’m in my 30s and am just finding my passion. Is it too late to become known as an expert in my area? 2. My workplace has stopped taking temperatures of employees every day. How can I feel safe? 3. Did you personally ever struggle with a bad attitude that needed correcting, that stinking thinking? 4. I’ve been looking for a new direction but have now discovered I love what I do.What should I do now? 5. I’m planning to launch some courses about investing for women and I need to grow an email list first. Would love some ideas/thoughts/tips etc?
