In conversation with Joe Zammit-Lucia on the relationship between Business, Politics and Digital/Tech, covering everything from his latest book "The New Political Capitalism" through to Facebook and the Metaverse. We explored how and why technology is highly political. Where do responsibilities lie for a Digital Responsibility that ensures positive outcomes for society and the planet? How do we shift the focus from shiny 'technology' to what technological advances are achieving for our societies? Our conclusion is that tech businesses must take the lead to establish a much more effective collaborative process between the political/policy realms and business, big tech as well as others.
