Rep. Liz Cheney: Trump’s election lies are “poison”
Rep. Liz Cheney, the No. 3 House Republican, said her party can’t accept the “poison” of the idea that the 2020 election was stolen. She also said they shouldn’t “whitewash” the Capitol riot on January 6th and the former President’s role in inciting the violence. The Wyoming Congresswoman has been at odds with Trump since the insurrection, which has made her a target of the former President and his supporters.
