Om Namah Shivaya - 108 Times Chanting

'Om Namah Shivaya' is a highly Sacred Mantra. It is dedicated to Shiva, the Supreme God of Dissolution, and salutes 'the auspicious one.' This Vedic hymn known as Panchakshara, the Mantra of five syllables- Na Ma Shi Va Ya, appears in Shri Rudram as part of Krishna Yajur Veda and also in Shukla Yajur Veda. These 5 syllables are believed to represent the 5 elements of nature, which together declare the unity of universal consciousness. Chanting this Mantra with faith can earn Shiva's abundant grace and many material and spiritual blessings.
