The 22-woman roster includes 21 players from NWSL clubs and features a much different, younger group of players. Could this be the future USA World Cup team? CBS Sports has announced a multi-year deal to become the exclusive US and English-language rights holder of Barclay’s FA Women’s Super League, the top women’s soccer league in Europe. Coverage will start in 2022 through the 2023-2024 WSL season. The NWSL’s 12th franchise has unveiled their name, San Diego Wave FC.
