Herbs are a foundational piece of Ayurvedic living, but sometimes we don't know how to use them in our daily cooking. One great way is through tea, and a classic Ayurvedic tea that balances all three doshas is CCF tea (Cumin, Coriander, Fennel). Listen to this quick bonus episode and you will be converted to adding CCF tea to your diet. Besides balancing the doshas there are so many benefits to this home grown health remedy. Recipe: 1 Cup water 1 tsp cumin, coriander and fennel seeds. (mix together an equal ratio of each seed and store in a glass jar. Use 1 tsp of the mix when making the tea) Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer and steep for 5-10 minutes. Best served warm. Enjoy! Namaste.
