Neal Spackman is the founder and CEO of Regenerative Resources, aiming to transform millions of acres of degraded landscapes into productive ecologies. He focuses on restoring mangroves, a protected species, all over the world, mainly because of their potential to provide coastal communities and ecosystems with important micronutrients, filter harmful pollutants, and protect the land from erosion. He is an internationally recognized pioneer of Regenerative Seawater Agroforestry (RSA), which uses seawater and aquacultures to create a non-polluting, closed-loop regenerative system of lands previously devoid of life and viable soil. Spackman is passionate about connecting ecological sustainability to its economic benefits, hoping to address poverty, biodiversity loss, ecological degradation, and food and water scarcity through his work.
