#19 Super Mario Bros. Wonder- My first 2D Mario game!

Shocking, I know. As a kid I never grew up playing Mario games but tried to get into them as a teenager when the new 2D Super Mario Bros came out on the Nintendo DS. I never 'got' those games, they felt a little bit bland. . . so will Mario Wonder get me into 2D Mario games and is the game worth playing? Spoilers: YES! This game is fantastic, Wonder is up there with the quality of Odyssey, the humor of the Mario movie and the sense of joy that comes with exploring a magical world, like in the Nintendo theme parks. In my opinion, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the best 2D Mario game of the modern era.
