Chester faced a number of challenges and struggles in his early life. He was bullied in high school, his parents divorced when he was very young and he was a victim of sexual abuse. As a teenager, he began experimenting with all types of drugs while working at fast-food restaurants to pay for his drug habit. His personal pain and loneliness did lead him to his creative outlet and fostered a huge love and talent for music.
