MAISIE WILLIAMS | Before They Were Famous

Maisie Williams was raised by her single mother in Clutton, Sommerset. She was known as being a boisterous, energetic young girl that would prefer to run around and play with the boys, rather than get stuck doing conventionally girly things. She had a passion for dance and enrolled in Susan Hill’s School of Dance, where she was advised to take a trip to Paris to attend a talent show. She came away from this with a new agent and an audition for a role in Nanny McPhee 2. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. This almost held her back from auditioning for Game of Thrones, and eventually becoming Arya Stark.
