TAEYEON | Before They Were Famous

Before They Were Famous - En podcast af Michael McCrudden

Kim Tae-Yeon was born in 1989 to two musical parents who supported her from the very beginning in her quest to become a musician. Early on in life she auditioned for the SM Academy and was accepted as a vocalist, given a popular Korean singer, The One, as her mentor. She quickly made a name for herself in the Academy and got a contract with SM Entertainment, later being placed as the lead vocalist in the Group, Girls Generation. The sailing wasn’t always smooth, and Girls didn’t take off the way they planned, which caused Taeyeon a lot of stress that negatively impacted her health. However, in 2009 Girls Generation put out the song Gee, which changed all their lives for the better.
