A podcast in Spanish about UK property investment   Hi and welcome to Real Estate UK or shall I say “Bienes Raíces UK” I’m your host Leo Suarez You may be wondering, why would someone -in his or her right mind, choose to launch a program about UK property investing or the UK market in Spanish? Without the fear of being mistaken you will be surprised that around 200,000 Spanish citizens live permanently in the UK But if you take into account all the countries in the wold where Spanish is spoken I could say that between 500,000 and 700,000 people that were born in a Spanish speaking country call the UK home today.   I can imagine that right now a lot of you are thinking that it is a hell of a lot of people!   But you need to take it into context and think that around 300,000 UK citizens live in Spain alone. But I can tell you that the reason why we decided to launch this programme was not because all those Spanish speaking citizens that actually are right now in the UK. Please bear with us until the end o the episode and for sure you will understand the whole picture.   Probably some of you may be thinking that anything related to immigration right now is a very controversial topic.   And you are right!   Today we can see all over the place great pressures again immigration. A clear example of that is in the US Mr Trump. Talking about building this wall to keep out the Spanish speaking people from Latin America to enter the US. Well we do not have to cross the Atlantic of movements anti-immigration. Here in the UK Brexit was clearly fuelled by the feeling of immigrants taking over UK jobs.   As a result, no one can deny that the free movement of people around the world is being made harder and harder. But you will be surprised to find that the free of money is not something that governments and people are against, on the contrary it is heavily promoted. So once again thank you for listening. The three pillars of the property business that provide a great opportunity for people that are Spanish speakers to participate in the UK property market. 2.
