The Women in Public Service Project (WPSP) is a program at the Wilson Center committed to reaching a minimum of 50 percent of all decision-making positions in public service held by women by 2050. Jane Harman resigned from Congress February 28, 2011 to join the Woodrow Wilson Center as its first female Director, President and CEO. At a WPSP event our CEO Natalia Brzezinski got to interview Jane on the hardship of being a women in Congress, losing an election and what it takes to be a leader today.
