Bside Incoming: Hiatt dB It’s with great pleasure that we bring you another amazing artist from further a field in our ‘Bside Incoming’ series. An accomplished percussionist and DJ turned producer, and of course a man with an impressive vinyl collection: Hiatt dB. This is a Bside showcase all the way from New Orleans, where he began his career performing percussion and holding down the decks before founding his very own party series and record label. It’s a city of rich musical history in which Hiatt dB has built his own soundsystem which made its Mardi Gras maiden voyage this year. You’ll find him broadcasting regularly on WUTL New Orleans 91.5 (8-10pm Saturdays) as well as promoting some great dance music from across the Gulf South via his Mystery Zone Records. https://mysteryzonerecords.bandcamp.com He is actually the first American to release on Rhythm Section, our own first feature of the ‘Bside of...’ series.
