Bside Incoming: Taelyn This weeks episode takes us on an adventure to pastures new, this time all the way to the Korean metropolis of Seoul, and one of the most exciting young selectors the city has to offer: Taelyn An emerging figure of Seoul’s music scene with an ever ambitious desire to keep collecting records, a lot of interesting electronic sounds, many modern club weapons, but also a clear fascination with the 80s vibe. Rising from the community based around ‘The Edge’. a café come record store come music hub for the city’s electronic music enthusiasts. Featuring mixtapes on some of the city’s best media outputs and her own ambition of starting a radio station focused on world selectors and record diggers that will soon be actualised with the help of fellow DJ Jae Zae, we’re keeping our eyes and ears opens for that! From post punk vibes to deep into a dark electronica, club ready breaks and soulful 80s moods.
