As always, Calum was only allowed to play tracks from the B-side of his favourite records. With his mixing being some of the best we have hard, and track selections spot on, Ep. 13 has been one of my favourite yet. (Sorry about the feedback on the mic btw, we were in a new place with big speakers). Cutting his teeth in Dundee at the infamous Sessions parties at the Reading Rooms, Sloan brought old and new heavyweights alike to the fair city, welcoming Egyptian Lover, Marquis Hawkes, AnD and more whilst cementing a reputation as a killer resident with a rapid fire vinyl mixing style and tastes spanning electro, acid, italo, UK hardcore and techno. More recently Sloan has held a residency at Glasgow’s most notorious afters spot Lunacy and appeared as The People’s Front in Edinburgh alongside The Burrell Connection and Parts Unknown. As one of the boys behind the Lezure and Pace Yourself crews, he has helped host some of Glasgow’s most forward-thinking bookings while spinning frequently in La Cheetah Club and Berlin’s Salon - Zur wilden Renate.
