Alasdair Fraser joins Ewan Petrie for this weeks episode of "The Tracks That Take Us Back". Alasdair is one of the most respected and celebrated fiddle players on both sides of the Atlantic. Born in Clackmannan, Alasdair's love affair with Scottish traditional music started at an early age and continued to blossom through his teenage years into adulthood. Having initially pursued a career in science, Alasdair made the decision to follow his dream and embark on a career in music. This decision has led to a stellar career involving countless high points, from numerous studio albums and awards to performing all over the world.
