The current expression of Christianity has largely departed from its New Testament roots, where believers gathered not to watch professionals perform but to participate as equals, each contributing according to their spiritual gifts. This isn't about buildings or budgets but about becoming living temples where God's presence dwells. Embrace the cost of authentic ministry. True Kingdom work requires dying to self—to ambition, recognition, and the desire for financial security. The path forward isn't through self-promotion but through humility and service. Many who appear successful in ministry are building with materials that won't survive divine inspection. Restore village life. When Deborah arose as judge, she noted that "village life had ceased." Similarly, today's individualistic Christianity must give way to genuine community where needs are shared and met. No one should go hungry while others have plenty.
