Tidewater Architects Spotted in the Wild

The future of our modern society currently swings in the balance. With rising carbon emissions and diminishing global forests we are currently facing a new reality as global temperatures continue to increase. Through this shift, oceans around the world will begin to rise and seaside cities such as Osaka, Shanghai and Rio De Janeiro will be vulnerable to flooding. In our recent 21 More Jobs of the Future report, the Center for the Future of Work proposed the idea of Tidewater Architect, a professional that will help mitigate cities such as these against rising sea levels. For this the 13th episode in our CFoW podcast series we’ll be looking at another example of our now 42 jobs of the future coming to life, or as we call it “Spotted in the Wild”.
