Lots to talk about this week about the cage fights (but don't, worry not much from the borderline appalling undercard of UFC 273) as Aljamain Sterling pulled off the best win of his career against one of the most skilled fighters operating today--and his nemesis--Petr Yan, and Khamzat Chimaev showed once and for all he is no joke by taking a big step up in competition against Gilbert Burns. The best pound-for-pound fighter around Alexander Volkanovski also gets a mention. Over in the boxing ring, Gennady Golovkin won a hard-fought battle with Olympic gold medalist Ryota Murata. Is Triple-G shot? Is the third fight with Canelo Alvarez at best a waste of time and at worst dangerous matchmaking? Am I just being a sad old goat?
