Episode 44: Leon Edwards wins the trilogy
Combat Chronicles - En podcast af Kyle McLachlan
UFC 289 is in the books and surely Kamaru Usman's time at the upper echelons of MMA is as well? In this episode I look at how Leon answered questions I've had on him FOR YEARS and also take a look at Usman's career from pre-to-post title, injury concerns and the fact he might well have aged out and also lost some of what made him so great in the first place. Not to detract from 'Rocky' Edwards though, who has now cemented himself without a shadow of a doubt as the premier 170lber worldwide. Plenty more to talk of on the card including the potentially dodgy decision in the absolutely terrific Gaethje-Fiziev fight, but also Marvin Vettori being uninteresting (and Roman Dolidze being unequipped to deal with that) and the a potential clash between rising British stars being scuppered by the hubris of one of the combatants.
