James Casey is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer, and producer based in New York City. He is widely known as the saxophone player and vocalist for Trey Anastasio Band. James has recorded with Phish, toured with Meghan Trainor, performed on the Tonight Show with the Jonas Brothers, and shared the stage with Dave Matthews Band, Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Billy Strings, among many others. James made his solo recording debut with the release of a special Christmas EP – A Little Something For Everyone – on December 5 to support the fight against colon cancer. Proceeds from the album will support the Colorectal Cancer Alliance and will help provide free colon cancer screenings for the uninsured.
