61: MISSING: Gabriel Johnson

Detective Perspective - En podcast af Derrick Levasseur - Mandage

On December 20th, 2009, Logan McQueary was supposed to gain physical custody of his nearly eight month old son, Gabriel. But when Logan arrived to pick him up, both he and Gabriel's mother, Elizabeth Johnson, weren't home. For days, Logan tried contacting Elizabeth, but she didn't respond. Then, on December 27th, Logan received a text message from Elizabeth claiming she had murdered Gabriel. Investigators immediately launched a search for both Gabriel and Elizabeth, but when they located Elizabeth days later, Gabriel was nowhere to be found. Elizabeth eventually told police that she didn't kill her son, but instead participated in an underground adoption in San Antonio, Texas. Investigators looked into Elizabeth's claims, but they were never able to confirm her story. It's been almost 15 years since Gabriel disappeared, and investigators are still searching for him. Nearly eight month old Gabriel Johnson was last seen on December 26th, 2009 at the Home Gate Studios and Suites in San Antonio, Texas. In the last known photo of Gabriel, he was wearing a white flannel pajama set decorated with reindeer, Santas, and Christmas trees, and a white knitted cap with light blue and green markings. If you have any information in this case, you can call the San Antonio Police Department at (210) 207-7660.
