S1 Ep14: Levi Bellfield, the Bus Stop Killer

Helen Anderson and Danni Howard turn back the clock to look into one of the most disgusting killers so far, the Bus Stop Killer, Levi Bellfield. After growing up into a woman hating thug, Levi took the lives of two women, one 13 year old girl and attempted to murder another woman in a violent attack involving a people carrier. Expect harrowing accounts from ex-partner Jo Collings, first hand accounts from police investigators on the scene at the time, and a very angry Danni. Devils in The Dark contains graphic details of sexual assault and violence and is not intended for all audiences. Listener discretion is strongly advised.   00:00 - Introduction 07:42 - Where Levi’s story first begins 11:06 - Levi proves quite the ladies man 14:54 - Levi meets Jo Collings 17:36 - Jo reports Levi to the police 18:28 - The disappearance of Milly Dowler 22:04 - The murder of Marsha McDonnell 24:48 - The attempted murder of Kate Sheedy 31:00 - The murder of Amelie Delgrange 32:26 - Met Detective Colin Sutton is on the case 34:49 - Levi’s white van 43:13 - Levi is arrested at his home in West Drayton 36:48 - The trial of Levi Bellfield 49:20 - The murder of Milly Dowler 55:00 - Levi’s new identity, Yusef Rahim 58:00 - Helen and Danni react to the news that Levi Bellfield has applied to get married in prison 1:00:25 - Coming up on next week’s episode… Jeffery Dahmer This episode is sponsored by… CalmUK.
