My experience started by getting completely lost in a crazy white out on the Playa solo. I lost & ditched my homies in a singular effort to make my set on time on my bike lol. I ended up being 30 minutes late to my set and also played on CDJs first time in 10 years or so (or whatever long time - I’m usually a Traktor guy). It was one of those magical moments with the elements (extreme heat and playa dust) dictating the direction of the day. I was thirsty AF on top of being late AF. But the DISTRIKT crew had my back upon arrival with smoothies, water and drinks and made me feel at home immediately, and it turned out to be one of my most memorable and cherished experiences.
