Down Home Cajun Music- Belton Richard Meets Aldus RogerIn the early 1960's Belton Richard was riding on the success of his first singles on Dago Redlich's Chamo label out of Crowley. Aldus Roger had just come out of his first retirement and was recording for La Louisianne Records. Someone had the great idea for Belton and Aldus to record together. So, Belton got behind the drum set and Aldus played accordion with Tony, Johnny, Rodney and Man Abshire tagging along. Together they recorded a great album in Crowley. Sadly it has never been released on cd. Here's my copy which I cleaned up the best I could.Waltz of No ReturnRayne Two StepLa Valse De ParasolNonc AlceeCalajena CalajanDrunkard's WaltzHeart Broken WaltzLafaytte Playboy Two StepYou Want Me Back WaltzJe Passe D'Vant Ta PorteHathaway Two StepLafayette Polka*All selections from the original Chamo 1000 Lp.
