Down Home Cajun Music- Cajun Classics Part 1Continuing on with Cajun labels J.D. Miller started. After he stopped recording Cajun music on his Feature label in 1955, he started up two new labels devoted to Cajun recordings in 1959. In that year he started the Cajun Classics label and signed Nathan Abshire after he left the Khoury's label. Many of the other artists that appeared on this label had recorded for Miller before. In 1964 after only a couple of releases, Miller stopped releases on Cajun Classics, only to revive the label a couple years later.
