Down Home Cajun Music- Mosquitoes and Moonshine 1935-1938After the Great Depression, Cajun music returned to being recorded, but it was string bands that dominated with the fiddle replacing the accordion. Cajun musicians mixed their traditional music with pop music, country, western swing and jazz.
