Down Home Cajun Music- Nathan Abshire 1973-1978After recording for Floyd Soileau for the most part of the late 60's and early 1970's; in April of 1973, Nathan started recording for La Louisianne Records. In March of 1978, Nathan recorded a album for the Sonnet label with a great backing band of Sady Courville and Preston Manuel. In August of 1978, he recorded one more album for La Louisianne, which would be his last. On these recordings we get to hear Nathan record many classics he had not recorded before. On Chicago Blues, Nathan records his own version of Bosco Blues, he also records covers of Hip Et Taiau and Le Flames D'Enfer.
