DHCM- The Breaux Brothers 1929-1966This episode we take a look at the various recordings the Breaux Brothers made from 1929 to their last in 1966.Amadie and Ophy, along with their sister made their first recordings in 1929, where they recorded the classic, "Ma Blonde Est Partie" for Columbia Records. After the Depression the boys were called back to record in 1934 for Vocalion Records where they recorded the bulk of their recorded sides with their brother Clifford. They would not record again till the 1950's when Amadie and Ophy recorded for the Feature label. The last recording we have from them stems from a 1966 field recording.
