Every journey has a beginning, but few can compare to the story of our guest today, Josh. Only nine years old when he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, he shares how he navigated this tumultuous journey with a spirit that exemplifies the resilience of youth. From finding solace in school and sports, to addressing treacherous health decisions amidst COVID lockdowns, and even a harrowing overdose in 2021, Josh’s story is one of perseverance and tenacity. Canteen celebrates it's 35th birthday this year. It is an organization that has been a beacon of hope for young people like Josh, grappling with cancer. Their work is impactful and incredibly important - they save young lives. But the organization operates solely on the benevolence of donors.
