What does a Net-Zero Energy building look like?

Due to the fact that we were busy with the Global #ClilmateStrike in our hometown, we present this repeat program. The Joyce Centre for Partnership & Innovation at Mohawk College is the $54.25 million, five-level centre - the region’s first net-zero energy institutional building. With solar panels on the roof and high-efficiency lighting and heating, purchasing offsets, and by educating students to use less energy, the building's energy use is close to equal that being generated.
