In this episode, I read - Yesterday by WS Merwin. This poem made me twitch a little. It was written in 1983, and yet it speaks of a guilt that remains timeless. One that all of us carry with us no matter how little or how much time we spend with our parents. A non preachy conversation written only to illustrate the poet's own feelings about the last time he saw his father, made afresh by his friend who's talking about the last time he met his. It is a beautiful piece of poetry. One deserving of being more widely read and shared. Please give it a listen, presenting "Yesterday" by WS Merwin.
