Sibel successfully qualified her country from the Semi Final to the Grand Final and at the end of the voting sequence Turkey placed at Number 11. Sadly, since 2012 Turkey is not participating at the Eurovision Song Contest anymore. But Radio International is very happy to be interviewing one of their participating legends from Eurovision 2006. Jarkko Timmonen (Winner of the Fan Vision Song Contest 2021) Interview with Jarkko Timmonen (Winner of the Fan Vision Song Contest 2021): The Eurovision Weekend 2021 took place in Stuttgart, Germany from 15 - 17 October 2021 with the participation of Eurovision Winner 2013 for Denmark: Emmelie de Forest, Justs from Latvia (2016), the Winner of the 6th Season of Deutschland Sucht den Superstar (German Idols): Daniel Schuhmacher and seven young candidates competing in the event's Fan Vision Song Contest 2021. The contest was won by Jarkko Timmonen representing Finland with a Finnish Cover of the Eurovision winning song for Austria in 2014 "Rise Like a Phoenix". Jarkko convinced the international jury as well as the audience with his amazing voice and vocal capabilities and won the contest with a landslide victory. Marc, Salman and JP met the singer for an interview the morning after the victory which you can hear on the show this week.
