Rich and Daily: All Mariah Carey Got for Christmas is Sued

It’s (whistle tone) TIIIIIME…for Mariah Carey to lawyer up. On Wednesday, the Queen of Christmas was sued for copyright infringement over her holiday banger “All I Want for Christmas is You.” Musician Vince Vance says MC swiped the title and key parts of her hit from his 1989 song. And Richies, if this story sounds familiar, it is. He filed the exact same claim last year before dropping it a few months later. But now he’s back with a hotshot lawyer who took on Taylor Swift last year, and he's hoping for a big Christmas payday. So does Vince Vance have a shot? Or is this just a “sweet, sweet fantasy, baby…?" See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
