Carol Vander Stoep joined us from Austin Texas today to talk about the dangers of mouth breathing, reversing sleep apnea with orofacial myofunctional therapy. Carol is a fascinating woman to say the least. Here's why I liked her so much... She talks about a whole different side of biological dentistry than anybody else we've ever talked to. Sure she's into conventional holistic dental practices like being mercury free, using ozone, removing root canals and cavitations. For those that don't know biological dentistry (or sometimes called whole body dentistry) takes into account how the teeth affect different organs through acupuncture meridian points in the body. Each tooth can resonate or "reflex" to different organs. Taking it a step further poor organ function can affect the health of the teeth. Our body is a whole unit. We are much more than machines. We are energetic light bodies that vibrate in space and time. But she takes things a step further. Actually many steps further.
