Podcasts Archives - Extreme Health Radio - En podcast af Justin Stellman

I learned about Dr. John "Jay" Faber through our friend David Wolfe. I was listening to his Best Day Ever podcast and heard a really great show with Dr. Daniel Amen from Amen Clinics. I reached out to them to see if we could talk to somebody from their clinic and we were so happy that Dr. Jay Faber was willing to do the show with us! I was really moved by watching this video. Their treatment protocol for healing mental disorders is so thorough and so comprehensive. Dr. Jay Faber is a really unique and great person and not only do I love the work that he's doing, I can tell it's heart centered. He really really cares and his whole mission in life is to help people recover. We talked a bit about the home he's working on to help troubled youths in the inner cities and the free book he wrote as a thank you to his patients and America. Here are some of the mental disorders we talked about and how Amen Clinics helps with them. * Anxiety * Mood disorders * Depression * OCD * Temper * Addictions * Negatvity * Bipolar * Concentration (ADD) * Traumatic Brain injury, Concussions * Alzheimer's * Poor Memory * Autism As we discussed in the show, roughly 26% of people have a diagnosed mental disorder. What about all the people that have mental and brain issues that are *NOT* diagnosed? If you couple that with people who are on pills and pharmecutical drugs/medications you can begin to understand why people are acting the way that they are out there in the world. Brain health and mental health is a huge issue today and we need to have better ways of dealing and treating them than simply talking through some issues on a weekly basis and then take medications. I think as a society we're starting to understand that and realize each person is unique and needs unique treatments tailored to their needs. There are no "standard" human beings so the standard of care for treatment cannot work. I hope you enjoyed this interview or conversation with Dr. Jay Faber.
