A water company in the east of England is to build a pipe "longer than the M1" to bring water from the Humber to counties further south, in an attempt to tackle water shortages and meet future water demand. Why some salad producers are switching from growing cucumbers to aubergines. And building Cornish hedges has been put on a red list of endangered skills.
