Kurdish Women’s Stories: Resisting Erasure Through Writing

Houzan Mahmoud, a Kurdish feminist, writer, public lecturer and anti-war activist, has compiled a new collection of women’s writing from Kurdistan. Going beyond exoticising stereotypes and patriarchal representations, Kurdish Women's Stories gives twenty-four women authorial freedom to write about their own lived experiences.
