3.18.24: Learning About New Zealand's Rookie Academy with Ben Potts

PSIA-AASI First Chair Podcast host George Thomas catches up with PSIA Alpine Team member Ben Potts. As winter winds down in the northern hemisphere, the southern hemisphere is bracing for a successful winter season. Ben travels to New Zealand for their Rookie Academy where instructor training is conducted. This isn't for locals only, this event brings in members of national teams, like PSIA-AASI's, to teach and connect with others like them. PSIA-AASI is looking to offer Level I and II training as well as other certification opportunities. You can go to www.RookieAcademy.com. Ben worked for Trebel Cone Ski School in New Zealand and randomly met current PSIA-AASI National Team member Jon Ballou and built a connection from there on out. Here about what Rookie Academy is like and share this pod with your friends!
