Valeant's chief executive to step down

Valeant said on Monday that chief executive Mike Pearson would be stepping down. The Canadian drugmaker also traded blame with its former chief financial officer over providing incorrect information to the company’s auditors that it said led to the filing of erroneous reports with the US securities regulator.
