Gabrielle Fundaro, PhD, a scientist and nutrition coach, takes us on a whirlwind tour of diet culture and the anti-diet movement. Dr. Fundaro advocates for a broad view of wellness, and provides an evidence-based view of both the risks and benefits of intentional weight loss. She shares a brief history of diet culture and the anti-diet culture, and an introduction to the Health At Every Size (HAES) movement and the emerging concept of "healthism".
