Slowly, we begin to explore the beautiful cabin, we go from room to room to discover each feature that makes it the perfect place to get away and rest. We will visualize the wrap around porch that surrounds the cabin, providing us with views of the mountains and nature around us. We stand for a moment and use gentle breathwork to release tension and take in the sights and smells this oasis has to offer. As we begin to relax even more deeply, we discover the perfect place to unwind, a cozy porch bed that looks as if it were designed for just this purpose. As this journey is about self care, we decide to lay down in the bed and listen to the birds as we begin to close our eyes. We let go of any stress from outside the cabin and allow the hustle and bustle of our daily life to gradually fade. The scent of lavender helps to lull us into a peaceful state where we are ready for sleep and we begin to hear the gentle rumble of thunder in the distance. With the sound of the rain, we will take a 40 minute nap that will help us feel refreshed and ready to return to the rest of our day.
