So, if you want your drums to grab the listener’s attention, then here’s one of our fastest yet most powerful drum hacks!   HACK The main role of drums is to provide a rhythmic foundation for the music. When that’s all they do though, it’s easy for them to blend into the background. But, if something in that foundation jumps out unexpectedly, the listener’s attention is instantly brought back to the music. And the fastest way to do that is to displace one snare hit.
