It’s that time of the year again, and this year has been a BIG year filled with learning curves, and a few stumbles along the way… regardless of what obstacles we have faced, we have pushed through and forward, learned our lessons and never looked back. Life, work, and times are not always perfect, it’s what we make of it, and we are reminded of this every single day. We are so quick at wishing the end of the year away so that we can start fresh. A new beginning. It’s so easy to get fixated on what didn’t work out for us. What we failed at. What we need to change, and what we would have done differently. What about if we were grateful for all the experiences, big or small? What about focusing on the things that we are proud of? What about reflecting on all the lessons that made us grow? What about appreciating life experiences as perfect moments? Let’s finish this year by focusing on all the things we are thankful for no matter how hard they were. Life itself is something to be grateful for, the ability to feel emotions and express them is something to value. There is enough research that shows the neuroscience of gratitude and its effects on the brain. It’s the best way to catapult us forward and improve every area of our life!
