ZINNIA is the extended art of Rachael Cardiello - a classically trained violist raised in the mountains of Montana who has spent half her life touring performing and recording in Toronto as a session player. ZINNIA can often be found in full band collaboration with Chris Pruden, Kat McLevey and Mackenzie Longpre. ZINNIA's upcoming album Dollar Store Disco marks an epoch of triumph and perseverance: one part broken, one part rage, and one part escapism with a heavy nod to 1970s Italian disco. Due out in early February 2025 on the Montana label Anything Bagel.
