He joined Arrival after a long career with General Motors in order to accelerate the adoption of electric commercial vehicles. Ableson believes Arrival has unique technologies and an overall vision that will be foundations for a very different business model in the EV space. Now, unlike Tesla and other EV companies that have made big investments into giant production facilities, ARRIVAL believes it can build affordable electric vehicles in smaller, localized micro factories, which has caught the attention of logistics and automotive companies. UPS, Hyundai and Kia have invested in ARRIVAL and the company has raised $629.4 million to date. Mike joins us on the latest episode of the Inside Transportation Podcast for an extended chat.
