Basking Sharks & Conservation Conflicts with Isla Hodgson

If you're a fan of nature (of course you are) & you're on social media (very likely too) then you will know that within the conservation industry there often debates or dare I say battles between people or organisations with opposing views. For example the shooting industry & the RSPB. This got me thinking, how does this affect the progress & overall end result of projects or debates. To help teach me more about this I spoke with conservation scientist & ambassador for Save Our Seas Foundation, Isla Hodgson. Before we spoke about conservation conflicts I HAD to talk to Isla about another passion in her life, Basking Sharks. Isla has spent many hours in the presence of these wonderful animals & her love for them came across perfectly. We then swiftly moved on to discuss the human behaviour side of conservation conflicts & what impact this can have on the success for the protection of the planet.
