Do you replace your glue dot multiple times during a service? If you do, stick around for this podcast as we hope to save you a lot of money by getting you to rethink this practice. Imagine if you only used one glue dot per client? How much glue would that save? Recently I've been seeing posts on IG reminding people to replace their glue dot every 30-60 minutes during a lash appointment. I even saw some people saying they replace it every 5-10 minutes. What? If you did a 90-minute appointment you'd change your glue dot at least 9 times! I did a pole on our IG stories asking our followers what they did and more than 60% of them replaced the glue dot during their service. Tussanee has been doing lashes for almost 16 years now and we had a salon for 13 years where we probably did 70,000 to 80,000 sets of lashes between our team and Tussanee...and we never replaced the glue dot during the service. Because of our technique, our average client would come in every 4 weeks...so we got great longevity even while using a single dot of glue during an appointment. So what gives? Are we doing something wrong or are maybe a lot of lash artists around the world wasting a lot of glue every day in their lash rooms. In this episode, Tussanee breaks down why you should rethink this practice and save your glue. BTW...after you listen to this episode, please test out our ideas. Never just take our word...always test it to make sure it works for you. That's how we do it in our business!
