117. What is The Clubhouse and Tips On How To Use It

Are you ready for another social media app? If you're like me back in early January, I'm sure you're saying "NO" as you read this. You might be thinking, "I'm already on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Yelp, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Vine...I don't have any more time!!! Arrrrgh! If I have to post on one more feed, I swear I'm quitting this life, moving to Pennsylvania for a more simple life and becoming Amish". I get you...that is how I felt too and after living the simple life in Pennsylvania for a month, I decided to give The Clubhouse a try (btw....Vine is gone...in case you didn't notice...you can stop posting there...I just saved you some time..you're welcome). For the last month, I've been playing with this new app and have grown to really enjoy it. This app can serve a purpose for our industry. You can get benefits from it and not have to put any work into it...now that is an app with some promise. Sadly, this app is only available for iPhone users at this time. I think I read one of the Clubhouse founders feels Android phones have no practical use other than being a good doorstop (okay...I might be exaggerating a little here). The truth is they have plans for it to be on Android eventually...not sure when yet. In this episode, I explain what the app is and how it can be useful to you as a lash artist.
